Most of the legal work done for VLSH clients is donated by volunteers.

In Hawai'i, we are fortunate in having a long history of pro bono service by attorneys, paralegals, law students, and others. The legal profession has always given of its time to represent poor people, donated money to assist in pro bono projects, and provided much-needed resources to those in need of quality legal services.

Today, VLSH volunteers take pro bono cases, staff legal clinics, and/or work on other VLSH projects within the community.

The "Volunteer Spotlight" section of our newsletter is dedicated to those who make a difference to our clients.

We thank all of you on behalf of our clients for volunteering your time and expertise and for making our work possible.
