VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Licensed attorney volunteer opportunities:
Neighborhood Legal Clinics
You will assess the case and, if appropriate, provide advice to the client. You may even want to provide a brief service such as drafting a letter on behalf of the client. Finally, you will work with our staff to ensure we know what further assistance the client needs, such as obtaining a pro bono lawyer for representation. Please view our calendar for a list of upcoming clinics.
Pro Bono Referral Program
Many clients need more than advice and counsel - they need an attorney for full representation to attend court hearings and assist the client in resolving their legal issue.
Consider lending your expertise to clients by accepting a case pro bono. For a list of current cases that are pending placement, please click here
Housing Support Legal Program
Conduct workshops and provide legal advice and counsel to residents of transitional shelters throughout Oahu. Give shelter residents the tools necessary to succeed upon graduation from the shelter.
Workshop topics include public benefits, social security, family law, consumer credit, landlord/tenant and tax education. For a list of upcoming workshops, please view our calendar
