Chapter 7 Bankruptcy

Individuals with unsecured debts (e.g. credit cards, personal loans, medical bills, etc.) and interested in filing for Chapter 7 bankruptcy will meet with a bankruptcy Volunteer Attorney at a Neighborhood Legal Clinic for legal advice and counsel. The Volunteer Attorney will review the individual's credit report and provide advice and counsel on his/her current situation. The Volunteer Attorney will determine whether the case is appropriate for referral for additional pro bono assistance (based on volunteer availability; representation cannot be guaranteed).
